										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The PCU Soldering Machine provides high production rates and consistently solders capillary tube and suction line assemblies. Using an oxygen/acetylene, oxygen/natural gas, or oxygen/propane gases flame, the machine is capable of turning out 100 to 200 soldered assemblies per hour depending on length of assembly, length of soldered joint and diameter of suction line. PCU soldering machines are custom-designed to the user&#8217;s specifications depending on the individual application. The machine can be configured to solder capillary tubes of 1/4 5/16&#8243; or 3/8&#8243; diameter. Tube feed rate is adjustable from 120 to 400 inches per minute. The machine is PLC controlled with customer choice of PLC type and displays for machine program setup.</p>
<p>Use of the PCU soldering machine only requires the operator to take the straight pre-cut capillary tubing and suction line from the supply rack place them into the carriage on the loading table clamp them into position and push the leading ends into the soldering section of the machine. The rest of the operation is completely automatic. The soldering assembly is fed from the machine and deposited onto a storage tray. It is not necessary for the operator to come near the soldering section of the machine at any time.&#8221;</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The PCU Wind Tunnel is designed to provide various thermal loads to any thermal management system for fully loaded dynamic testing. This system combines PCU&#8217;s field proven testing technology with the flexibility to match a wide range of thermal requirements. The test system employs an operator interface which allows the specified control properties for thermal loading to be adjusted without reconfiguring the system. Utilizing the latest in PID controls, the system is able to provide a fully flexible operation with accurate and repeatable process control. Once the system is configured, the operator is only required to load/unload the product and initiate the testing.</p>
<p>In addition to the wind tunnel, the test system can also be configured to supply liquid utilities as required to dissipate any thermal needs. The test system also includes data collection which can be utilized to log inlet/outlet conditions along with temperature profiling as needed. Depending on the specific needs, the wind tunnel can be set up for either open or closed loop operation.</p>
<p>Typical configurations consist of a tunnel with a flow meter, proportional flow control valve and or a blower to provide the required mass flow. The flow is conditioned with dryers, chillers or heaters as required conditioning the mass flow before and after the test station. Chillers and heaters along with proportional valves are, also, used to provide liquid mass flow at the desired levels for secondary flow management. The test may be run from several minutes to several hours. Additional power utilities required are a compressed air supply and 460/3/60 electrical power.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Brake Pedal Test System is used to verify the integrity of the vehicle brake system. The Brake Pedal Test base unit is located on the production floor, while the mobile console is mounted on rails and located on the operator platform adjacent to the vehicle. The base unit provides air and hydraulic fluid to the mobile console. The mobile console is equipped with a test fixture for interfacing with the brake pedal.<br />
The operator first connects the vacuum hose to the brake booster in the engine compartment. A slight vacuum is introduced to the booster to simulate the vehicle vacuum while the engine is running. After this connection is made, the operator then maneuvers the test fixture into the vehicle. Next, the operator selects the process style from the four flashing style lights on the assist arm. Finally, the operator presses the start button near the test fixture to start the process cycle. The test fixture verifies the vehicle brake system by pressing the brake pedal at specific forces to simulate the driver. Movement of the brake pedal is measured and compared to limits programmed into the PLC vehicle style. When the process cycle is complete, the operator removes the test fixture and vacuum hose. The mobile console is returned manually to the home position. A green light on the console denotes a pass and a red light denotes a failure.</p>
