Tom Hoge, President / Chief Executive Officer
Serving as Sterling Production Control Unit’s president since 2001, Hoge successfully acquired the company in 2012. In his role as President / CEO he has established an independent Board of Advisors, implemented a formal planning and management systems improvement process, and instituted the Sandler Sales System as a means to position Production Control Units (PCU) for sustained growth.
Prior to joining PCU, Tom served in several executive level positions at Martin Brower Company and Eaton Corporation. He holds a Bachelor’s of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from Denison University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University. Tom and his wife Madeline reside in Mason and have 3 adult children. In addition to spending time on the farm, he enjoys sports photography, physical fitness and golf.
Joseph Osterday, Chief Financial Officer
With over thirty years of financial and accounting experience, Osterday joined Production Control Units in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. In his current role, he oversees the company’s financial reporting and controls practices, as well as administrative management systems.
Prior to joining PCU, Joseph was the CFO of Assembly & Test Worldwide, Inc. overseeing the financial reporting of 4 domestic divisions and joint ventures in Brazil and China. He has a BS and MBA from the University of Dayton and is a Certified Public Accountant. Joseph resides in Kettering with his wife Karen and have two adult children. They enjoy traveling, walking and hiking.
Brian Hutton, Chief Operations Officer
Joining Production Control Units in June 2000, Brian is currently responsible for overseeing both the technical and manufacturing growth strategies for the organization. Prior to his current role, Brian led the sales organization as Executive Vice President of Sales and Service, Vice President of Sales, and Account Manager.
Brian first joined PCU as a Project Engineer, after working at Heidelberg Finishing Systems in various engineering roles. He holds an Associate’s Degree in applied Science from Sinclair Community College. Brian and his wife Mary reside in Beavercreek and have two adult children. He enjoys music, spending time with his grandchildren and restoring classic cars.
Joseph Madren, Executive Vice President Sales and Planning
Madren joined Production Control Units in January of 2015 as the Executive Vice President Sales and Planning where he is responsible for leading the sales & service organizations growth initiatives as well as client outreach activities. He is also responsible for coordinating the company’s strategic planning process across the entire organization.
Prior to joining PCU, Joe was President of Baumer HHS Corporation where he led the sales and services activities throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Engineering with a concentration on Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University. Joe and his wife Elizabeth reside in Kettering and have two young daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as golf and hiking.
